Tri Tip Steak with Pirogues
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup chopped green pepper
1 LB Tri Tip Steak cut into strips
1/8 cup flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
olive oil
1 Tbs red wine vinegar
2 Tbs mars ala wine
dash Worcestershire sauce
2 cups beef broth
Box frozen potato Pirogues
Saute onion and peppers in a couple Tbs of olive oil. Mix flour and salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Add sliced meat to flour mixture to coat completely. Add meat to saute until browned. Add broth and both wines and Worcestershire sauce. Stir till broth is thickened. Boil pirogues as directed. When pirogues are done add them to the beef gravy mixture. Serve.
